Project Description

The resort has been operating commercially since 1990 and has a 54-bed capacity. It comprises of twin and double rooms as well as a separate wing with seven large guest rooms. Other facilities include ample parking, a dining area that can cater for about 70 people per sitting as well as a sizeable swimming pool and spacious conferencing facilities. The Resort’s main accommodation blocks having been renovated from construction site accommodation facilities, offer a functional rather than luxurious set up. However, once outside, the captivating view of the Masinga reservoir coupled with the tranquil ambience of the environs create a very welcoming atmosphere.

The MDR clientele is almost wholly drawn from the domestic market. Currently TARDA, which manages the resort, draws income from the lodge from conference packages booked.
